Valaksayo

The language will undergo a few changes in the period between the Reign of Arami and that of Klorabis.

Stay tuned while Tearan gets at ease with their tongue.

This is a current work-in-progress version of the phonetic reading of the script.

“Word” here means the root term. Any addition comes after the part in parenthesis.

  • Dw is rarely ever use in other context than referring to the 2nd person. Same for Ny for 1st person and Xl for 3rd person.
  • Xy can be used as part of a word to denote a long ee between roots, but is favoured for marking the there case instead.
  • Yw can be used as a word started, but is usually used only for hence case.
  • Yy by itself or at the start of a word denote the tone at which what comes before is meant to be said (think “Hello?” *she said abruptly*). For words that end in a ii sound, a compromise is mead with either Wy, Yl, or Yd depending on what fits best the word.
  • Xd, for fire, is short for Askira, and this causes the “sk” from middle and end
  • Xy and Xx are sometimes used interchangeably for denoting a “h” starting word, though Xx is prefered.
