Yivalkes, as it was known by Tearan on his first of two jumps in time and space, is a port town located on the grounds of our modern day Dubronik on the Adriatic sea in a late bronze age that is undergoing rapid industrial growth, where, three hundred or so years later, it will be known as Valaksá or Ibbala, depending on who you ask.

Studied here is less its topography than its main spoken and written language, Yivalese.
